What is up SharkNation!
This week Luke and Mark sit down with David Kindlon CEO and co-founder of Eppione and Screenin.me to chat about the changing ways companies are rewarding staff in 2021 and beyond.
Eppione provides software to manage all HR needs including benefit management for employees.
The way we all work is in flux at the moment. Nobody knows what's around the corner, but we do know that we are living and working in a new environment post 2020. Managing distributed teams will become a competitive advantage and products like Epionne with help you manage this new and complicated landscape.
Main takeaways:
1. Benefits as a competitive advantage. How do you retain staff without working in an office? How can you build loyalty and a team mindset working remotely?
2. Building a successful startup in Ireland requires an international mindset. Eppione's two co-founders are based in NYC and London.
3. There is real value in the office environment for some roles. You lose a lot of the shared experience that a lot of companies have invested heavily in. We speak about ways to replace this.
4. We speak about the future of employee benefits and how companies will have to adjust if they are going to compete.
And much more...

As a successful business mentor in Ireland and international speaker, Joseph devotes his life to helping others ‘waken up’ and live enriched, fulfilled lives by thinking into results, one thought at a time.
Joe Started off working for the local counsel in Ireland but became depressed and over time became self destructive.
After turning his life around and building several million euro business', Joe is dedicated to helping other realise their potential through coaching.

2. There is real power in visualising the future you are trying to create. Joe's life reflects that and his mentees testimonials reflect this also.

What is Up SharkNation!
Today Luke and Mark sit down with Chris McGale, Author of "Million Dollar Irishman", to chat about his amazing life story, from orphan and boxing champion to star financial player in Merrill Lynch.
Biggest takeaways from this episode:
1. It doesn't matter where you start in life or the hand you are dealt, a mixture of determination and luck will often determine where you end up.
2. Work in an industry that has tremendous upside. Chris says financial services is still a great industry to earn big money.
3. Gamble if you have an information edge, if you know more about horses than anyone else but if you don't back yourself, the knowledge is useless.
4. Take action, don't just read about a subject. Chris got his first job in investment banking because he was trading shares before it was poplar, the bosses in UIB were surprised Chris had real experience before he even started.
5. Look for an "angle". Chris built his book of clients in London from Ireland, and this proved to be a real advantage.
6. Aim for big wins, "I wouldn't pick up the phone for less than $1,000,000" was something Chris talks about in his book. Don't waste your time chasing small outcomes. Every day counts.
Chris' book is out now, here is a link to the audio version: https://www.audible.co.uk/pd/The-Million-Dollar-Irishman-Audiobook/B08YFGVNJG?qid=1615797062&sr=1-1&ref=a_search_c3_lProduct_1_1&pf_rd_p=c6e316b8-14da-418d-8f91-b3cad83c5183&pf_rd_r=TST421SX23K5HSV2SKKF
